Your CAC didn't break.
The way you buy traffic did.

A live, 60-minute working session on where the profitable ecommerce traffic went in 2026, and how the brands still scaling are buying it. No slides about "the state of the industry." Just the three levers that decide whether your next dollar of ad spend makes money.

Ad costs went up. That part is real.

Here is the part almost nobody says out loud: the auction didn't get more expensive so much as it got less forgiving.

It stopped rewarding clever targeting. The platform picks the audience now, whether you like it or not. And it started rewarding three things that most brands are simply not built to do.

The brands that are still scaling profitably in 2026 are not outspending you. Most of them are spending the same or less. They are buying the same traffic you're buying, and they're buying it better.

That's a fixable problem. It's fixable this quarter. And it's what this session is about.

What you'll walk out with

01

The creative math

How many concepts you actually need in market per month to keep a winner alive, and how to produce them without hiring a studio or burning out your one designer. Creative throughput is the constraint now. Not targeting, not bidding.

02

The one number to scale on

Platform ROAS is not profit. If you scale to it, you scale the error inside it. We'll cover the number to replace it with, where to find it in your own data, and how to have it in front of you by Friday.

03

How to raise your bid ceiling

Whoever can pay the most for a customer wins the auction. That's the whole game. We'll cover the retention moves that raise what you can afford to bid, so you stop losing impressions to brands with worse products and better math.

Be honest about whether this is you

This is for you if

  • You run a Shopify brand doing roughly $1M to $10M a year.
  • You are already buying traffic. Real budget, real spend, real pressure.
  • Your revenue is growing but your profit is not, and you can feel the gap widening.
  • You have watched a winning ad fatigue and had nothing ready to replace it.
  • You are tired of pulling four numbers from four dashboards that all disagree.

This is not for you if

  • You are pre-revenue or not running paid traffic yet. Come back when you are. This will not help you today.
  • You are looking for a one-off project or an hourly freelancer.
  • You want a list of hacks. This session is about the math, and the math takes 45 minutes.

We'd rather you skip it than sit through an hour that wasn't built for you.

Who's teaching

Russ Henneberry

Russ is the founder of Brandevor, a growth marketing agency for retail and ecommerce brands. He's the co-author of Digital Marketing for Dummies and the former Director of Editorial at DigitalMarketer, where he grew content traffic 1,125%.

He's been doing this for more than 20 years, which mostly means he's watched this exact panic cycle three or four times now. The channel changes. The math doesn't.

Brandevor runs paid ads, email and SMS, SEO, and creative for DTC brands. Every engagement is a monthly partnership, not a project. Russ works out of Saint Louis.

The honest FAQ

Is this a pitch?

There is an offer at the end. We will tell you what Brandevor does and invite you to book a free strategy call if you want help. The other 45 minutes are the real thing, taught in full. If you take the three pillars and run them yourself, that is a good outcome and we are fine with it.

Will there be a replay?

Yes, for registrants. It comes down at the end of the month. Show up live if you can. The Q&A is where the good stuff happens and the replay cannot give you that.

I am not sure my numbers are clean enough.

That is most brands, and it is the point of Pillar 2. Come anyway.

How long, really?

60 minutes. We start on time and we end on time.

You don't need a bigger budget.
You need a higher ceiling.
